Straight roads are for fast cars. Twisty roads...

I just got back from Deals Gap. If you're a gear head and haven't heard of that place, shame on you. Go Google it right now. For those who know what I'm talking about you may enjoy these:
First vid is one I just shot on my recent trip up there with my 2006 Mazda Miata. I've been going up there for years with friends in a roadster club and this is the first time I got video of me doing a run. The audio was meh, hence the music, so you'll just have to excuse that.

And for the two wheeled fans out there this vid is when I was up there this past October for what was probably one of the most beautiful weekends I have ever experienced in all my years going there. It's also the first time I took my Ninja 500, or any bike for that matter, up there. And also only about one year and 7,000 miles under my belt riding. I know for a fact that I came away a better rider. That road demands skill. Especially when on two wheels.

Man, if I was only 3 hrs away from that place I'd be up there once a month. It's probably good that I'm not that close because I'm not sure I could afford all that gas and all those tires!
I've seen many a well set-up FWD car tear up that road up at ludicrous speeds. Old Civic hatches and Minis in particular. I'm sure getting a Prelude to rotate wouldn't be difficult either. Just stay on your side of the double yellow. ;)
