Moving on.

So after many restless nights, and hard days coping with putting on that "happy face" at work for the public I've decided to keep trucking on with my life. I have talked with managers at my work and I'll be getting a minimum of 30 hours a week now. Once I'm finished my training as a bather, and spend a few months working in the salon they'll send me to the academy to become a full groomer. Once I get that certification I'll be on as a full time member of our grooming team and still get to keep my training classes on Sundays. I'm really excited about that. I've been with the company for almost 5 years so its about time I get a full time position.
I'm not gonna lie though, being a bather is hard work, I've already had a few close calls with getting bit, its also labor intensive, stressful, loud, messy, wet and takes quick thinking. But with all that my days go by very quickly, and I get to play with puppies all day.
I also hope to one day open my own grooming salon/training center. This isnt for at least another 5 to 10 years but hey, I've got all the time in the world now to focus on me and hopefully while I'm working on being the best I can, some guy will find me and be lucky enough to have me as his wife.

Checking in/out clients
Walk in toe nail trims
Bathing
Expressing anal glands (not the best part of my day)
Drying
Teeth brushing
Eye cleaning
Nail trims with a drimmle tool
Ear cleaning/ plucking
Answering phones
Being the ultimate multi-tasker while always looking out for the best intentions of the dogs
Being a Groomer you do all of the above and:
Provide walk in trimming of face for small breeds
Trim paws and fur in between the paw pads
Provide full body cuts to breed standards
General tidies
Extreme dematting and/or shaving
(with special training you can groom cats too)
All of this while dealing with both good and bad dogs.
Glad to see you looking forwards instead of looking back.
Hang in there, keep your chin up...I do the same thing- I bury myself in my work when a lot is going on and it helps.
Just one day at a time, one hour at a time, or even one minute- whatever it takes.
Well if yous tart a groom shop, count me in. :3
I'm taking a program in St.Lawrence to be able to do stuff of that sort. Check this out You don't need Highschool biology and chem and stuff like that, so I pretty much wasted a year of school here, but oh well, right?

I can only imagine how hard some pets must be if our dog is anything to go by. Although she is reluctantly good as gold, she just will not let anyone near her paws to trim her claws. Even as her owns she's given us a few warning nips, so I know how scary sometimes it must be. I know you can do it though!
Side note: Few of my cousins and such do that, they love their job.
Then I brought her and her mate to the guineapig shelter (yes we have a guineapig shelter here) and voila. Madam was sitting on the table, happily being groomed like nothing was going on, making me look like a fool. Turned out I was doing it wrong... Oh well, you're never too old to learn.
So far from what I've seen, the track record with furs in the fandom hasn't gone well for you.
Sadly, the relationships in the fandom as it stands always tend to be flaky at best, not sure why, but it's the trend.
You'll find someone kitty, your a gorgeous, lovely female and the right male will come along.
Hell if I didn't have two male mates already, I'd toss my paws into the ring to mate with you:)
So don't fret none, your male will come along.
Focus on your job and other life goals and the mate will come by eventually.
I know I found Kantu when i had stopped looking, I'd said I was going to focus on work and my career and what have you and pow into my life he walks (from another country to boot).
But sounds like your job is taking the right road for you and that your at least happy with that side of things ::grins:: not easy doing the grooming I use to groom show dogs when I was younger (use to handle them as well).
Yeah, I can see that as an issue, myself being Bi. I like both sides of the fence and havnign had a female mate once, I can see the bonus in that relationship, sadly like most males who are furries, sex does take a huge chunk of the brain and I myself like my variety, I think what your looking for is a straight male fur, to at least get rid of the other temptation.
Not sure really, but yeah, move on with your life and as I said before, when you do look for a mate, look outside the fandom, since furries tend to be flakier then non-furries in that area.
But know there's always one wolf who still likes you:) Even if it's not as a mate.

I'd be damn happy to have a female mate who's fine with me playing with other males, that would be wicked awesome, you get an awesome female mate(a hot one at that..namely you) and get to play with the boys.

You'll do fine, your a sexy kitty and any male who has you in his life will be damn lucky and make others envious.
One of the saddest things is he always thought everyone was talking behind his back: "oh poor Bailey, stuck with an ucky girl, what a shame" When in face NO ONE ever thought that, everyone was thinking "Wow look at Bailey, what did he do to deserve a girl like her, lucky guy" But he never saw the good, he always dwelled on the bad.
Oh well, like I said, it's his loss, anyone who decided to be with me will be damn lucky to have me and maybe one day Bailey will see that and regret sending me away.
You'll find someone worth your self. Many a male who thinks like me, whe'd be honored to even get to spend a night with you:)
