Oh god, the nostalgia

My body moves, goes where I will. But though I try, my heart stays still.
So I'm preparing to move out of Vicksburg for good. Most of my stuff is already packed up, but today I packed a dusty old bookshelf that I hardly ever touch.
And I tell you guys, it was like a trip down memory lane.
Old photos I took between the ages of 7 and 12, birthday cards from the last birthday party I ever had, my old full-colour Sonic comics that were published by Archie, several old Gamepros (boasting previews of Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando, Jak 2, the first Call of Duty, Final Fantasy X-2, and a first look at the PSP prototype before it was even named), tons of my old Children's books I'd forgotten about, one of the Cheat Codes books from the 90's, guidebooks for original Gameboy games, tons of letters from relatives, instruction booklets for toys and playsets I had forgotten existed, promotional booster packs from trading card games that never lasted more than a year, happy meal toys from terrible animated movies that no one remembers, I could go on and on.
I dunno if this is important, but it seemed pretty significant to me.

FA+

I love finding that kind of stuff, unless it has a sad past behind it. :(
I find them highly significant.
I love all that stuff, but hate how much time it takes out of the present, just flipping through stuff I lost like 4 hours and it only seemed like minutes to me.
