No worries. It's just some people get a little preachy about the topic. Weed's a rather safe alternative to a lot of modern intoxicants; it's actually safer than tobacco and booze [no addiction being the key factor, and far more satisfying, requiring less intoxicants]. I'd rather more people did that than smoke and drink, honestly.

Yeah, weed tends to be all-natural. THC IS a psychoactive and it CAN cause memory loss in the short term but alcohol is far more damaging to the brain [THC does not kill brain cells, basically; inhibits some of the chemical transfer but only as long as it's in the brain, once it metabolizes [[takes a few weeks, mind you]] it no longer has any effect], and even as far as lung cancer goes, weed can be ingested in a variety of ways. Some of the best, actually, are to NOT smoke it, but rather to ingest it, which causes no harm to the body at all.

In general, I'd rather see weed legalized, taxed, and regulated than to see it completely illegal while meanwhile alcohol and cigarettes are somehow still legal despite their addictive and far more damaging effects on the human body.

Only reason booze and smokes are legal is because they're much more easier to tax. Tobacco because its tax was essentially instituted shortly after, if not during, Colonial times, and alcohol because of it's difficulty to make. Then again, companies and corporations also add a factor to the taxing process. Basically weed is illegal because American's are capitalists.

Weed often does not affect other people, and when it does, it's no different in its effect than liquor and cigarettes. Drunk parents are a lot worse than stoned parents; you don't hear about stoned parents beating their kids but you sure as hell hear about drunken parents beating their kids. Also, I read his TOTALLY WITTY RESPONSE, but I should just point out here that I haven't actually smoked up in about a month.

He sounded like he was taking up some kind of crusade against stoners because of its damaging effects, but over-eating, drinking, smoking in general, and just about everything else damages people to some extent, yet where is his crusade on that? I don't see it. See what I'm getting at, now?

I hate to tell you this but 'legality' is a poor excuse for taking a holier-than-thou stance on something. I'll smoke as much as I want cuz I'm not hurting anyone by doing so. In fact, I generally need to smoke weed in order to sleep due to a chemical imbalance causing me to be unable to sleep just about every other day of the week. When I CAN sleep, it's often only for three hours. Prescription narcotics to help me sleep make it worse instead of helping.

Why don't you also tell people who are suffering from cancer and multiple-sclerosis and are in pain who have found that smoking weed alleviates pain ten times better than morphine and vicodin while also lacking the resistance/addictive properties that morphine and other pain killers cause is bad just because "it's illegal."

And besides, he's not laying around all day. He's taking a break from designing a BIG game on his own dime with his own free time.

so from what i found, the update adds a reflective coating to the lobby elevator buttons. and some how, they reflect the front door despite the back of the front desk being in the way. neato

Minecraft was made in just a little less than two years, by ONE GUY. Who for much of the beginning worked on the money from his own pocket.



So when I hear that after seven years that all we've gotten of 2.0 is a few floors and a creator that would rather continue to smoke weed than work on his project, I had to say something.

I'm not going to make much of a big deal out of this, considering the content and lack of, well, anything besides sex, but this is something very rarely done to the quality that this is turning out to, and it's a shame to see it take soo ridiculously long to see much(if any)results.

And before you point it out, I don't really care how this project ends up; I'm just happy to see it actually move along.
