2. My favorite Disney movie is Fantasia.

This is not to say I don't enjoy the films and TV series, because I do (mostly). I love the lore of both franchises as well. I just can't look too deeply into them, or else I get disappointed.
And what game soundtracks are some of your favorites?
Katamari Damacy, Morrowind, Warcraft II, Castlevania SOTN... Anything atmospheric or that can stand on its own. I listen to a lot of remixes, too.
-Again, bad prequels
Those two sting the worst. For how progressive Trek is, why are there no gays in sight? The best we get are, like, weird pseudo-gays, like women with male memories. It really sucks. And Trek really needs to move the timeline forward, not backward.
As for the games you mentioned, Symphony of the Night is the only one I'm familiar with. ^_^;
Regarding Star Trek: Watching it with a background in postcolonialism is an unpleasant experience, especially TNG. Looking at it, it seems like humans are the paragons of good in the universe. Other species can pitch in, but humanity will be the ultimate force for progress. Some other things to consider: Aliens are easily stereotyped in Trek (all Vulcans are logical, all Klingons are warlike, etc.). The only "explorers" have been white men. The Federation is socialist (no money, people work for the advancement of the state).
