So, after purchasing Minecraft recently, I wanted to try and use Hamachi to play online with some friends (I need it to connect to their network/server). Thus begins my last, rage filled hour.

First, I find Hamachi on my computer; downloaded it ages ago to connect to people in Open Canvas. I try to open it, and it says "Sorry, i can't do that Dave." or some bullshit like that. It advises me to reattempt to open it again in a few seconds. Five minutes of this process (fail, retry, fail, retry, fail, retry, fail) and I become pissed off. So, off to download the newest version!


I get the newest version downloaded, open up the installer, it tells me it'll delete the old version blah blah blah *click OK*. It starts installing, and it gets to end end of the installation, and it gives me some bullshit about the installation ending prematurely, because it can't finish. Not reason as to why, no advice on how to fix it, it just up and say "WELL I CANT INSTALL ALL THE WAY FUCK YOU". So I redownload the installer (maybe it messed up, I don't know. Worth a shot). Run the installation again.

Same.

Fucking.

Error.


FIVE TIMES IN A ROW.


I am sick and tired of this bullshit and would personally like to kick the creators of Hamachi in the teeth. I have tried searching for this error in google, to find a fix. The only thing I find IS IN NORWEGIAN. And translated, the only advice it gives is to UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL. Which hamachi. REFUSES. TO DO.



If anybody on my watchlist knows what the fuck the problem is with this program-OR has it FULLY INSTALLED and is willing to zip the program files and send them my way-I will be grateful forever. Honestly. I want to punch my monitor right now, over this stupid bullshit. It's petty and immature, but this pisses me off to no end |:<
