so I tried that new Mortal Kombat

MK9 > MvC3
not only the best MK game, but it actually looks like you get your $60 out of it, unlike MvC3 which was pretty bare-bones with expensive add-on content. I haven't tried all of the modes but there seems to be quite a bit along with the Krypt. Story mode is pretty robust from what I've tried so far, but those Handicap matches seem a bit unfair (still winnable though).
I'm still baffled on how my character can still fight after being stabbed straight through the head twice though. :V

I've been looking at this, but i dont know how i feel about spending so much money on a game where i stand in a room and fight someone, over and over, i'd want a little bit more depth to it. I loved the demo tho, so maybe i will! :O

Mortal Kombat always gave you your moneys worth. MVC is just worth 60 bucks if your going to play online the whole time. Kind of like Halo.

I'm surprised in how excellent this game is... I too am wondering how many of these people can still fight with some of the things they do to each other.

I played the demo and I liked it plenty. I mean, how not to like it if it is actually like the first games (well, sort of)? Not to mention the characters present themselves before the fight like if they were in WWE.

I can't wait to get this game. I'm stuck with a copy of Mortal Kombat Trilogy for now lol.
