So this is a game called Dog Wars. In this.. Seemingly basic game, you are sending dogs to fight, in a game that steals much from Mafia Wars, and Drug Wars.
Now.. When I first heard about it, was a website, where there was such a strong outcry, I learned everything about the game.. accept anything about the game.. just 100+ words about how it should offend me and it should be banned. But when I actually saw the game.. cause.. fuck, only thing the article did was made me want to buy the game.... But the game is all implied violence.. and hardly Glorifies the fighters..

Personally, if you ask me.. This is no different than Pokemon. Lessie.. you walk around, capturing innocent animals from their native environment, and trap them in small cages. barley feed them and only bring them out to fight other innocent creatures, either in random fights, or in battles with other people, in exchange for little more than notoriety...

Seriously, though, people need to lighten up. It's just a /game/. There are other games that have worse things happen to animals. Much, much worse things.
Also, I think you could easily take the controversy away by moving the point of view; instead of people fighting dogs, how about dogs fighting dogs? That'd take the illegality out of it, at least, but also the publicity the makers were hoping for.
