no friends to fursuit with.....

Its 1:00am and I can't sleep. I've been thinking too hard about this....

not having anyone to fursuit with, let alone, having a common interest in the furry fandom with someone. And I don't mean the people on here who are friendly with me, I mean my friends outside of the fandom (personal social life).
None of my friends know about the furry fandom and are not really into the whole idea of me dressing up like that. It just really bothers me that I have no one to share it with.
A lot of people on youtube request me to go on a fursuit outing. Honestly, no one wants to film me going out in public. My family isn't really into it either. I have NO ONE except myself.
It really get me thinking why I even got a fursuit in the first place. Before I got one and when I was waiting for it, I was fantasizing about how fun it was going to be when I finally got one. Now....I barley even use it. Its a waste.
Now don't get me wrong, I love Crystal to pieces and would never give her to anyone, let alone let anyone else wear it xD
But on a serous note, Im really depressed about it. I want to go to Anthrocon so freakin' badly, but no one wants to take me or go with me. Even if I do end up going, no one will know me and I'll just be awkward.
Everywhere I look on the internet, there is always someone in the furry fandom who has another friend in the furry fandom that fursuits with one another. Or just friends that love to hang out and draw badges and animals together. Even that I don't have a friend for.
Bottom line, I feel lonely. And really don't know what to do next....

Man that would be the best thing ever. Maybe next year we can both go to Anthrocon together :D?

My first con was awkward because I knew no one and it was my first time ever suiting. But I was sortof a noob before and thats probably why. I was really shy.
I do have one friend who is also a furry, though.
Just try to be really extra open around people, by that time you will know lots of others and wont be all alone at a con. C: maybe there's another fur in your area, mmmm who knows?
but try to meet the local furries, they'd probably help you to get to conventions, you could probably ask them for a place in their room or a lift to get there that's what we do in my city
...not to mention I'm in the middle of nowhere and theres like... 3 cons in the whole of Australia.
It's why I'm waiting to get my professional suit done, then I'll have money to go to cons and actually use it.
But yeah, I know how you feel. Pretty much everyone here has that ~bestestfriendever~ they do all their furry stuff with.
Also, ive heard of a site-meetup.com, i think it is- that will help find people localy who enjoy the same interests. :) it works pretty well, though i havent had much luck in my area :/
