Fuck yes.
Fuck yes.
What did I say, what did I say to all you nay-sayers?!

To anyone in my close physical vicinity:
I so call him. He is awesome. <3

I am the devil. (I have never cleared my submissions or journals.~~)
Also: I love you guys so much. When I come on and see like 20 favorites and comments, it makes me go <3333 inside :3!!
Also: I lucked out and got an awesome four day weekend here! So I'm gonna spend a lot of it coloring old stuff and drawing new stuff. Likely more of the latter because I'm so excited and hyped for drawing -- but I really need to catch up on old things!
Also: I just edited this journal like seven times.

God, I was hoping for him ever since I conceived the idea of there begin a sequel to Melee -- I am totally shitting bricks right now!~~~~ <3
Seems to me Nintendo wants to market Kirby more. In all honesty though I'm not all that keen on what they did with the Kirby cartoon. Don't like how Kirby was made more or less the unknowing lil puffball that seems to win more out of luck then anything. I did find it interesting that the series has a lot of links to Kirby's Adventure then any of the other games. Heck, they even used Nightmare in there. Bet that's why they made that (inferior) re-release of Kirby's Adventure for the GBA at the time.
Still waiting for that Cube Kirby game that moved to the Wii. It's been all quiet around that one.
I did like, however, in the GBA port, the multiplayer. It wasn't hard (although hard to orchestrate with all those cords and such,) but it did have an air of random fun to it. x3
Man, my tears siphoned pure love out of the universe when I heard that game was canceled for the GameCube... it looked like Kirby Super Star on hypercrack... if that gets released for the Wii sometime, I will further sell more of my soul to Nintendo. <3
Personally I hold Kirby's Adventure at a far higher regard then Kirby's Fun Pack (That's the name for Kirby Super Star here). That game did add a lot to the Kirby universe but Kirby's Adventure laid down a far more solid foundation that the SNES one build on. Sure, the Gameboy game was the first but way to shot and seemingly so obscure now that most don't even realized that it's build into Kirby's Fun Pack. as one of the adventures
And I consider the GBA port inferior because:
* They messed up the music. The samples they used to "upgrade" it where crap even for GBA standards.
* King Dedede's stage played the Fountain Of Dreams theme and not Dedede's theme. Mayor WTF!
* Most harder secrets in the game got simplified or just utterly dumbed down to getting it right in the first go. It took effort in the NES game. Guess not in the GBA game.
* The NES one used those pseudo-3D effects like in stage 3 you go up the Butter Building and at various points you run in circles around it and it looks awesome on the NES. The GBA port? YOU JUST STAND STILL FOR 10 SECONDS DOING NOTHING. No effects, not even an attempt! Just.. NOTHING! Then a door appears and you continue. More WTF.
The only thing it had going for it was that you could be Meta Knight.
In my view the best Kirby games made are Kirby's Adventure, Kirby's Dream Land 3 and Kirby 64.
I know what you mean, I'll always love the NES version best. :3 Namely, yeah, a lot of the secrets that were hard to find in the NES version were made fairly obvious in the GBA version.
I have really liked the last two Kirby games, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror and Kirby Squeak Squad, just for the fluidity of the graphics and music and backgrounds and <3 Just sort of the peak of what I love of sprite games, really. NOt necessarily the best of them, but it has a lot of qualities I love in old 2D sidescrollers. <3
Kirby's Dreamland 3 was the shit, man. I loved the hell out of that. My ultimate dream would be for Gooey to be brought back, in Brawl. (And Geno from SMRPG.)

If we must duel... we will find out who shall wield the tri-De's! *glove slaps* I challenge thee.
Hehe anyway.. nice message list. ^^; Hope to see you during this amazing weeked of yours.~
You deserve every favorite you get. I can't wait to see what else will come from you. X3
The combo supreme comes with sour cream. It'll happen if you edit your journal a few more times.
