what the fuck...
in the middle of working on a commission my intuos4 pen has stopped working =/
it may move the cursor but the moment i tap the tablet the cursor becomes unresponsive and the light
on the tablet wont shine bright like it normally does when you're drawing on the tablet...
at least the "eraser" still works and i can use that end to draw... but wtf... the tips are now useless

my tabby does something similar, so i have to restart it sometimes.
Hit your start menu, in the blank below all programs type in "Services.msc"
Then look for a service called "TabletServiceWacom" or something similar, stop and restart the process.

I know that all of my tablets have had powered stylus, and once they start to run down they get eratic. My last one runs on a AAAA battery, they get pretty small and hard to rule out without trying to open the stylus
Does the button on the stylus work, or does that dim the LED like pressure on the nib does?
The only test I can think of to double check is to pull out and reseat the nib to make sure its making full contact with the sensor pad inside the pen.
