Art Focus Change

General
Recently I've had epiphanies regarding what direction I want to take my art to. My AP Art history course has provided a look into the way art has gone in the past and where we stand today in contemporary art. Seeing all the differing viewpoints has most definitely inspired and altered the way I view art.
Simply, I want my art to have meaning. Most of my works that I have posted are just character designs and concepts, but I want to do more. I feel art is very much about the idea behind.
My ideas have been stale, and two-dimensional in the art that I have posted.
Through the summer and as I attend Art College, I hope that my style will expand into something that is pleasing to look at and become a puzzle to be solved.
Don't know why I made this journal. Maybe to get things down on paper to help formulate what I really think. I don't know.
This will be an interesting ride with experimentation.

as for "ideas" behind art, I think that
I admit, personal art that has an idea, story or some heart put into it always turns out better than without. Just have a go and experiment, see where your heart takes you :) I'd be interested to see the results.
