Yes, farm birds of the duck and chicken varierty have been pecking at my brains. Today I clipped our ducks wings so they wouldn't keep flying out of their cage. The crap has literally been scratched out of me. (Curse ducks and them daggers they carry on their feet. Dangerous. I am surprised their mothers let them fly with those things.) If anyone is about to yell at me for clipping their wings, just shove a sock in your mouth and suck on it for a while. If our ducks started to run wild or get busy with the wild ducks, people would have to come and be rid of our ducks because they are not native species.

The ducks are rather heavy, so only the crossbred ducks will usually fly. The Muscovy ducks that I have come to know and love now have to make babies with the Khaki Cambell ducks because they are the only ones there. We no longer have any male Muscovies since the demise of Cuddles, may he rest in peace. So we have three males, two Khakies, and one Khaki/Muscovy mix. (His name is Edgar and he is a BEAST, reminds me of Cuddles, but I have reason to believe he is not Cuddles' son.)

I am still distressed over Flyer, the only duck who did not get her wings clipped because she keeps FLYING AWAY. It is really hard to herd an animal that can just say "screw you, I am going to go fly over thur." Enough to make me go insane, if I wasn't already. But all the ducks names are locked in, and the have all been written down.

And also, I love chickens. I just really love chickens and have much reason to believe that they are my favorite animal. Pimpest animals in the world.
