May Art Slow Down...
General
...for serious this time.
I got called out on the fact I posted my "I'm slowing down due to wrist ouchies" journal, waited, about 5 days being all anxious/fidgety at lack of progress and once my wrist showed the barest sign of improvement, started grinding at art again like it would stop the world from exploding (you're welcome).
Admittedly, my wrist is doing a bit better than it was (no more waking up and finding it's too excruciating to even make a loose fist!), but the fact that it does still ache pretty badly (my thumb-joint and wrist start screaming at me when i make certain motions/positions or move my hand too fast) is a little worrisome and Anthrocon is coming up and... well, I want to be able to do some stuff for/at the con and so on. So yes, I will be slowing down to a more relaxed pace. I'll keep picking at art I've been working on, I'll keep picking at the commission list, but no more of my grind-a-thons aiming to get X amount of art done a week.
And since y'all have been so patient in reading this journal (and if you responded to my last one, THANKS for all the kind words!); I think I'll do that whole "Ask Me Anything." thing... because that's what I need to do for my carpal tunnel: type more. *genius* XD
Caution: My Answers may be full of bullshit.: U
Edit: ok i got a lot more response back from that than I thoguht I would. Thanks for playing, hope you enjoy the Home Edition. XD
Back to resting my wrist now.

How much buillshit are we talking about madam?
As for the ask you anything. Which TAS series do you like most? I'm torn between the Avatar and DBZ ones XD.
(puts on lab coat and stethoscope)
It's the part where everything else hanging off of a torso starts mucking things up.. but drawing a torso alone is notm my cup of tea! One day I will get the hang of drawing bodies well and consistantly...
Also... uh... sorry about the delay. D8
Again. D8
Questions, questions... nope, I've got nothing right now.
As for questions: Have you tried fish oil or fish with Omega 3?
You're everything I wish I could be.
I can fly higher than an eagle.

Many thanks for answering my question.

I can only add that the curative properties of Tumeric are not proven yet in America, and some comparative tests only show a slight improvment in healing time.
So, if you are tight in your budget, I suggest skipping tumeric.
But what could also help is using a specialized orthesis for carpian tunnel syndrome. Those are perfect when you can't avoid to use your wirst for a short period of time. It will at least prevent further damage. Depending of the model, they can be a bit annoying to wear, thought.
