Seriously, it's so easy to imitate him, the Al-Quaeda didn't even need to apply much make-up. Just use a big fake beard. I'm pretty sure he died during the Afghanistan bombings after 9/11. But now that Bin Laden is dead, there's one less reason to stay in the Middle East, even though I still can't help but feel that this is going to be Vietnam/Pentagon Papers all over again. Still, the US did finally get a noteworthy victory, and that makes me feel a bit better.

You forget the accounts made by his wife that identified his body, the DNA match to his sister, and the facial recognition software that positively identified him with 99.999% accuracy. He died when they said he did.

They did not show the body anywhere, in fact they apparently dropped it to the bottom of the sea for some odd reason (just hope he doesn't come back like Megatron did in the Bay movies, LOL!) I have seen no interviews with the wife, or anyone. All we have to go on is a declaration from Obama. IE, just words.

I also find it very odd that he would not have been taken alive and paraded on trial, like Hussein was. Seems like a huge wasted opportunity for me, and another reason to suspect this did not happen the way. But make of it what you will.

The Seals weren't even told what their target was. Maybe one recognized him and took the shots. There was no interview, just her coming forward (They might have had her on the boat ahead of time, IDN) and identifying the body. But who knows? hes dead, that is all I care about.

Burial at sea accomplished a few things. First, security. It was a big risk to keep his corpse on the ships. They didn't want any trouble, no matter what size or form, to jeopardize an almost flawless mission with no lives lost. Second, It prevents the Taliban from making a shrine for the burial site and making him a "bigger martyr." Third, I've been hearing that burials at sea are considered to be extremely insulting to the Muslim religion, but Im not positive. One person said that it would have been LESS of an insult for us to chop off his head first before the burial (possibly a "warrior's death or whatnot).

I guess that makes sense.
But I heard that the quick burial was about the Middle Eastern tradition of burying a body within 48 hours or something (not sure) .

And it seems the Muslims do have sea burials .

There is no hate here, we are all HAPPY that he is dead, and we all LOVE the fact that he is dead, this is most likely the most happiest board around.

It is understandable that a lot of people are relieved that he is dead, a man that led many operations that resulted in the deaths of innocents. However to actually celebrate the death, to say how you wish you could have done the deed yourself, this is not much different from the enemy we are supposed to be against who do just this and earn our disgust in return.
