Right, I should have yelled about this a long time ago, but... fucking get your asses out there and VOTE. I'm serious; today is the Canadian Election, and it's still going on for the rest of the damn day. If you actually give a damn about Canada and the government running it, get your fucking ass out there and VOTE. I'm extremely pissed off that there's such a apathy and lazyness among the younger voters in Canada. Goddamn it. I'm not gonna bother saying stuff like, 'people fought and died for your right to vote, so you better exercise it', no. no. I'm gonna say that I'm fucking sick of seeing some corrupt bastard like Stephen Harper, who honestly has no idea what the fuck he's doing, still being in office. I mean he previously prorogued (suspended) Parliament to AVOID a vote of no-confidence.
Repeat, he suspended parliament, just because he was afraid of being booted out as Prime Minister.
So. Our lovely leader if a fucking coward, who feels that basically "cheating" is the best way to do things. Not to mention his government was found in contempt of Parliament, and this is a FIRST, not only in Canadian history, but also a first in the entire British Commonwealth. That's pretty huge. Add to that, he's a bigoted fuck who tried to take gay marriage away AFTER Paul Martin's government legalized it. Seriously, how can you like this guy?
The polls seem to show that the Conservatives still maintain a slight lead over the other parties, but the NDP has had a surprising surge! They've actually overtaken the Liberals... partially because Michael Ignatieff isn't actually that good of a leader. Let's face it, the Liberal Party hasn't had a STRONG, POWERFUL leader since Jean Chretien, and that was eight years ago. Stephane Dion wasn't bad, but Michael? Ugh. Still, he's better than Stephen Harper. But right now, only Jack Layton and the New Democratic Party have a real chance of overtaking Stephen Harper's Conservatives. I mean, seriously, this is ALREADY a historic moment; the NDP has NEVER been the ruling party, nor the Official Opposition. If they actually WIN this election, this would make history. And I'm seriously done after five years of Conservative rule. Let's get Stephen Harper's ass OUT of there.

Not ALL politicians are bad. A good number of them are, but not everyone is just a power mongerer.
I'll just agree to disagree with you on voting. personally i don't think it matters, and i've never given two fucks about it. Lol. I still think that power corrupts, and though politicians have done good things, they're usually quite bad at maintaining the public, after they've done two or three good things, they become selfish and retarded.
Or is it like Oklahoma and all you have to do to vote is prove that you're human?
