Actually it was originally to socialize with people that I can not see in person on a regular basis. Now it is more of a time-killer than anything. I spend waaay too much time on youtube and scrolling through pages of art sites. Some stuff on youtube can be informative (like Ray Mears vids) but mostly its just brain eat.

I think because reality has always dissatisfied me on some level. I've always felt there was something missing from this world. What it is would be hard to define, but there's just something...lacking.
