Shit being oversensitive people.
This started because one of the admins contacted me and took down the picture of my snake eating a thawed, pre-killed rat. Now before someone tries to go and get me banned, I am NOT starting a war with the admins. Technically, they were right and I did violate the terms. I'm just saying it's a bs term.
It was taken off because photography cannot contain death. I'm sorry, but I think this is stupid. I like dead things, and I know a lot of other people do too. People post skulls, pelts, and taxidermy here all the time, and I don't see why they're allowed to post their stuff when I can't post this. I mean it's not like I posted a decapitated dog with its entrails wrapped around its muzzle. That would be understandable. Nope. It was a snake, eating a rat. A rat that was already dead. A rat that was unconscious before it died. A rat that felt no pain in death. You can flip to Discovery Channel and see the exact same thing. I'm sorry my snake has to eat. They're just not built to eat plants. And if I want to post a picture of an open casket from a viewing, why can't I? And on top of all that, the photo was matured and the description explained why it was matured, so if people wanted to see they could, and if they didn't, they didn't have to.
Again, not complaining with the admins, just complaining with the oversensitive assholes out there who are the reason a term like this needs to be in place.

I fucking hate oversensitive people too. I think It is more then a BS term. Like you said, they allow dead animal pelts and skulls n stuff. a frozen rat is no different. I need to snap a pic of my beardie crunching down on a worm and it's guts squishing out and see what happens. I can understand if it was in the act of literally killing a rat, ot something BEING killed, or like you said, a decapitated dog with it's entrails wrapped around it's fucking face, but yeah, that rat wasn't a rat anymore it was fucking food. On to your point. I agree with you 100% People here don't seem to like natural order at all why do you think the majority of art in this site is of unnatural stuff and I don't mean anthros themselves i mean anthros doing unnatural stuff.
Novaluna i think i might make this a point to argue about with the admins to enable us reptile keepers to show our animals doing what is natural for them are you interested in helping out at all?
And they tried to use "you can't prove that the rat was already dead" as a point against me. I offered to take a picture of the other 31 frozen rats, put them in contact with the supplier, and show them the video recording of the feeding and they just dropped the subject.
I don't know what to say other than I agree.
