Suggestions/Ideas?

The Styles Challenge kinda comes out of nowhere every month,
and it's pretty hit-or-miss sometimes since I've been doing it
all myself ^^;;.
So...with the next challenge a little more than a week away,
(meaning I'm actually going to be prepared for once!) Ifigured
it wouldn't hurt to see if you guys have any ideas that
you'd like to share for future challenges ^^.
Whether it's a prompt, a band with a unique style, or even a
simplistic track that people might be able to play along with;
we're not really that picky~. It might not hurt to take a break
from the instrumentation and focus on lyrics as well, so
we're definitely open for writing suggestions and
prompts, too.
So...show me what'cha got!

How about something like "compose a piece inspired by a specific painting" you can get quite a few different interpretations of peoples view on the art world.

Definitely a good idea. Going to have to get some suggestions for art for that one, since my first response was "The Garden of Earthly Delights" by Hieronymus Bosch. If you've never seen it, just google it. Using that painting would be a total train wreck xD.

lol yea...that would make an interesting selection...you might wanna look into impressionism or expressionism artworks. they tend to be really good for this kind of thing..i had to do one for my theory classes composition final...it is a fun experience to mess around with
