*Noms her nummy oranges*
1. Orange juice is high in Vitamin C, but not much Vitamin D.
2. Rickets is caused by a lack of Vitamin D, which comes from sunlight and various forms of milk.
3. Gout is caused by a high concentration of uric acid in the bloodstream, which tend to crystallize in the extremities.
So, I think that OJ is more suited to treat Scurvy and other Vitamin C related diseases. Just stating the facts. ^_^
One time I somehow got 4000% of the daily recommendation of Vitamin C also. Thanks, Odwalla!
