Well, today while at work I heard talk that just instantly stabbed my heart full of dread...

My coworkers were mentioning that firings at work could be happening soon. Last time I heard talk like this... well two weeks later I found myself without a job. Now I can't help but worry that I'll lose this job too... I mean I was told it would be a temporary (6-8 months expected but dependent on work and the clients needs). I was just hoping that it would longer then just a month (was wishing it'd turn into a permanent position, but that seems like it's nothing but a pipe dream >>).

Just feels like I can't get ahead, and time I just start thinking I'm getting on top of things and everythings looking good, life just finds a way to fuck me over. I mean really, here how things have gone:
Get a new job
Couple months later me and my mate break up and then I lost my job
Get a new job I like better
Lose job again three days later
Have 6 interviews within a few weeks
No offers made
Call current employer, still making decisions on interviews made
Week later offered position

Now it looks like this may be coming to a close as well. It'd just be nice to actually have a job lasts more then a month or two that isn't minimum wage. Actually get some good experience built up that will help land a better job later one. I'm getting tired of getting a month or two experience before I'm let go. Maybe I should just leave the Northeast. Nothing but bad luck has happened to me here (hell, found out I wasn't awarded my diploma yet as I had to straighten out some stuff with my school when I first moved out here). It's like the only good thing I had going out here was my mate.... now I no longer have that... Just I really love this area and all of my close friends are here
