so I'm kinda pissed right now, a program corrupted my registry and threw me into a windows repair loop so i had to format..... lost all the art i had and any stories or anything i had so..... really sucks

it was doing more then just that, my windows restore wouldnt work and my cd drive has been dead for ages.... also, no windows 7 boot cd

I meant you could have taken out the hard drive and put it in as a non-boot drive in another computer, then manually removed the virus.

my laptop is the only SATA enabled computer i have, the rest are IDE. i dont have any cables for it either
