My nostalgia goggles tint my opinion, I don't like them.

I do not feel the WB characters are fit for these "more relatable" roles/personalities, I feel they should just let these cast of characters ride off into the sunset and die off golden as people remember them, instead of forcing them to be topical or contemporary; copying off Family Guuuurl and The Average Show but in a tempid, toned-down, MEH-tier presentation to be able to be aired/broadcast-ed in a channel/time with more viewer.

But they're fairly entertaining

I think it'll take some getting used to, but it does have potential. I like that it doesn't seem to try too hard to mimic the originals, and instead tries to be its own show. I think its important that, if a cartoon as old as Looney Toons is to be relevant with young viewers (that's not to say it can't be for all ages) and new entertainment standards/practices, it needs to stay fresh. I'll be fair and give it some time.

I haven't seen the show itself yet - only the commercials.
But even those worry me.
Some of the characters it seems like they didn't mess with too much.
But the ones they did change [some of my favorites] it seems like they just destroyed.
I don't think I'll have a set in stone opinion until I actually see it - but for right now I'm concerned.

I need to give it a shot, but many of the voices put me off.

And what did they do to Witch Hazel? They pretty much turned her into Bubby from Flapjack.

I would like to give them credit for trying to do something new with the characters, but honestly it feels like a very tepid combined imitation of more modern "slice of life" cartoons. The writing is rank with obvious, unfunny jokes with little to save them in the way of good timing. To top it off, the voice acting for Bugs is... just plain off. I agree with shin that they ought to simply let the fond memories of these characters remain as they are. Their personalities played better with the slapstick and razor sharp wit that came with the shorts circa 50's and 60's. Now it's like watching someone's grandma try to do stand-up.

On the more positive end, the animation is GREAT. It's just such a shame it does nothing to save what's a snorefest of a cartoon.

I also just realized that though they've tried to make Bugs the straight man in the duo (as he has admittedly always been), he isn't stayed unfazed as the dynamic would usually work. The whole joked hinged on him being the unflappably cool wise-acre. And to top it off, with it being suddenly thrust into an every-day-world type situation of roommates going through the typical suburban lifestyle, he now feels underwhelming and boring. They've made him an everyman to the extent that there's just nothing interesting about this incarnation.

I will try other episodes, but this is NOT a great start to say the least.

And because I'm still thinking about it, here's a better example of modernizing an already established "classic" character, making it relevant, retaining the humor and not losing young or old audiences. Kids could find this just as hilarious as adults without having seen the originals.

It's leaps and bounds better than Problem Solverz or Tim and Eric and that's what we need more of. Let's go back to 98-99 when CN had some of the best animated quality around.

It is better than Problem Solverz, but that's like giving a cookie to the kid who got a D because he wasn't the kid who got an F.

I want to like it, but it honestly didn't get a laugh out of me. I don't have any problem with the whole sitcom setup, but the humor was far too subdued and not really sharp enough to mesh well with the Warner gang. I usually give a show about three episodes before I give up completely though, so here's hoping it improves.

They really ought to stop trying to make cartoon rabbits, pigs, ducks, etc "relatable"
i liked loony toons when I was like 8 but I cant st and the old ones, and the new ones look just as sickeningly awful.

It was a pretty decent first ep, though I felt Bugs came off as boring.

I honestly can't say I'm a fan of it. I've got quite a bit of respect for the old shorts and IMO trying to throw beloved and already established characters into roles that try to be more relatable just doesn't work. I just feel it's just another in a long line of flops that attempted as reviving classic Looney Tunes characters.

It looks good yet feels so sterile and flat.
