Quick Update and a Plea for Assistance (PLEASE READ!!)

Who are we but strolling players
Wand'ring through the long ago
Joys and sadness, hopes and longings,
Keep us traveling onward through
The laughter and applause of others,
Who view the passing cavalcade,
Leave echoes hovering some far summer,
Floating round a woodland glade.
'Twas but a tale for your amusement,
Like my small unworthy rhyme,
Gone, alas, into those realms,
The land of once upon a time.

Okay, so... um... today, i take my last final exam for the semester... and, tomorrow... i graduate. with an Associates Degree.
Yay me! *happy dance*
Normally, this would mean that I would get much more time on the internet where I'm not doing work stuff.... However, there is an issue that I'm having. My home internet refuses to connect to my computer. My laptop can connect anywhere else, but not at my house.
I have tried the following to fix it:
-Resetting the connect (having to put the ID key thing back in)
-Restart laptop
-Reset modem
-DNS Flush
-Disconnecting/Reconnecting from home network
None have worked. Does anyone have any possible suggestions?? (If you do, please provide specific instructions on how to do it. Assume that I am computer illiterate and break it down into steps that an idiot could follow.)
Any assistance will not only help me, but will help you see me more often.
Anyways, I love you all, but especially my
Foxyfluff ~<333
Take care!!

and for the router maybe contact your isp and see what they say or maybe try lowering the settings which is what our isp told us to do!
I'll be doing the same in the fall for my Associate of Science, as for your computer problem, this might not work but you should try, is to diable your proxy server for your LAN. It happened to me before, and it worked for some weird reason.
there are a few things here in play that you haven't quite done yet
The computer may have been locked into an incompatible setting with your network. If you can use other networks most likely we know its not the computer.
You may wanna clear your preferred network list (whatever your os is just google), reboot the router and the machine and try to reconnect.
Id run a winsock reset and reset the IP tables if you have a windows machine before you reboot to clean the network out as well.
Is it your router or something the ISP gave you or yours and do you have anything else you can check the network with?
You may need to run a wire into the router (if you can) and remote in and either renew/release the DHCP or IP list in the router, clear the device list or tweak the security settings. It'll depend on the source of the router and your options (like our faulty WPS setup which is a pain in the you know what)
Also if your going to do that check for internet connection on wired.
When in doubt Factory reset the router and try the defaults (after clearing the list of preferred networks)
there's things like trying to connect with no security as well or different security settings depending on what you have it on now.
If that doesn't work well call the router manu or your isp for probably a replacement or other updates
