yes, you can create your own cintiq but it will cost pretty expensive if you're plainning to buy a lcd. and in the same time, it's interesting to see how the guy built it :3

beside that, i saw a new cool cintiq create by wacom and unfortunally, it cost damn expensive : 1600$ ! >___< there the link

It's TOO heavy/big - cintique I have a small lap I rather have a Tablet PC (which I DO)

indeed but the new cintiq is a 12 puce now so, i think you can get it without problem. if you can't buy it, you can also buy a 15pouce lcd with an old intuos for that ^^
