Just to clear things up. The error in question was due entirely to human error. We pushed a mac laptop harder than I would have pushed a mac pro...granted we where careful but systems got overloaded due to stress.

however because of this you don't have to wait for 2 more years for HTH2 just to relaunch. That was the real time schedule not a year ago. and that would be unacceptable. The DVD is already on hold. The game can get done on a small system like the one we use now, so This sacrifice put us way ahead of schedule in a round about way.

A NOTE ON OUR COMPUTERS:

I have been using Mac osX for years and it was bliss. It was like having my brain as an OS. If I want a sound. I go to GB or any other great sound app on mac os. I need to edit I load QT or AE. it works with ANY USB device I need to load flash it loads...FIRST TIME NO CRASHES!


On win7 it's "NO! CRASH CRASH! VIRUS WARNING CRASH! UPDATE THIS THING. uuuuh I LOST YOUR FILE..sorry...force restart"
for fuck sake the TABLET DRIVER FOR THE BRAND NEW WACOM CRASHES EVERY TIME I CLOSE THE MACHINE!!! WTF!!!

You may hate mac os because it's pretty...and it's expensive (whatever, you get what you pay for. thats fine. I think it's a stupid reason but it's your opinion.

NO! Get a mac! Our mac blew up because we beat it into a bloody pulp...and it was a low end laptopn from 2 generations ago...not the top of the list.

But For the love of GOD DO NOT GET A DELL! We had a dell in studio a while back and it was not able to do ANYTHING! Nothing but errors and fucked up renders.
