To anyone in the know, or just wanted to toss out their ideas, I have had the Warmachine book and the Khador Faction book for about a year now. I love the game and system and this army, just havent gotten anything yet (no one to play with yet, but Im willing to go to registered games elsewhere lol)

Im kind of torn between which Warcaster to take. Its the mage warrior that leads his/her forces into battle as well as controler of the hulking Warjacks, massive steam and magicaly animated metal machines. Im torn at the moment between two; The old Witch of Khador, Karchev, and Zerkova.

The witch is all about subtle slaughter, Karchev is big on heavy and slow units with MASSIVE armor, and Zerkova is good with the mages in the army, basicly killing little things to lock down the big ones before she takes THOSE down.

I really love the Old witch most, but the reason I want one of these three is they are the 'side' casters. They are not the main 'bread and butter' of the army, they are kind of like....fluff. They are not WEAK, but not as bad ass as the others. Since Im always drawn to the 'underdogs', I want one of them. Just for the sheer thrill of out thinking and out moving an opponent with a warcaster most consider a joke.

The game is known for Page 5, the basic rules of respect they promote and Rule # 3 is "Give as good as you get : The proof is in the punishing- the one you give AND the one you take. Thers no honor in clobbering the smallest kid in the yard, and there is not pride to be won by blazing a path th the well for your fail-safe formula. The real bragging rights comes from taking down the big dog with a move that jams his pizza hole open like he just had a Juggernaut in a tube sock applied vigorously to the back of his skull. Damn the Status quo. Defy Convention! Tempt defeat, then wipe the food-trapping snaggletoothed grin off its face with a wrecking ball.
If the fight is easy, your not challenging up the ladder."

So, with that in mind, who do you think would be fun to make the other people look at me with fear and awe? All opinions are welcome!
