Buffy the Boardgame Slayer: A Gateway Drug to TabletopGaming

Over the last couple weeks people have been coming over and playing Buffy the Vampire Slayer the Boardgame. Buffy has a lot in coming with tabletop gaming, a map, player figures, life meters for each good and bad guy, and 2 attack forms (fight dice and Magic dice). The game has 4 campaigns (bosses and objectives for both sides to win) with the players being enhanced by Weapon, Research, Artifact, Help, or Evil cards (evil players only)
In broad strokes the 4 heroes are Buffy, Xander, Willow, and Oz, and all bot hOz can be sired into vampires by the evil player (with the right card and a vampire attacker natch) and Good players can restore a sired player (or the Angelus pawn) to good with a card.
Oz turns to a werewolf when the sundial token lands on the full moon, turning him evil.
Sounds a lot like a Tabletop Campaign to me, so i'm going to try and get them into a table top game, since the main difference is no cards, and a persistent world (in the board game evil won 3 times in a row...that would be bad in table top.)
Movement is handled by movement dice
At first i thought about just getting them into a Aberrant or WoD game but now I'm thinking of translating Buffy to Abberant's rule system (since the nova point system makes things a lot easier for a new setting).
Willow and Xander have 5 Life so i'm thinking they will have the base 7 HL, Buffy has 12, Oz 6 (15 when transformed), Buffy is easy, add 9 bruised HL, Oz add 1 bruised (unless transformed to a werewolf then add 10) the tricky part is the dice.
Xander has 1 fight dice and 1 magic dice, Willow (1F, 3M), Buffy (3F, 1M), Oz (1F, 1M)
Vampire Xander has 2 fight dice and 2 magic dice, Vampire Willow (2F, 2M), Vampire Buffy (3F, 1M), Werewolf Oz (4F, 0M)
Another problem is the "card" aspect
Buffy can have 2 weapon cards, 1 help, 1 research, 1 artifact
Xander can have 1 weapon card, 2 help, 1 research, 1 artifact
Willow can have 1 weapon card, 1 help, 2 research, 1 artifact
Oz can have 1 weapon card, 1 help, 1 research, 1 artifact, and a choice of W/H/R
Vampire/werewolf forms can only have a artifact card, (well werewolves can't have ANY cards, but move twice the dice, and can deal dammange if the fight dice come up a Fang)
Fight dice have several faces: (a d6 with Punch, Jab, Kick, Miss, Fang, and Stake)
Fang really only comes into effect with specific cards (and werewolves) and Stakes only with certine weapon cards.
So thoughts about how to make Buffy the Tabletop RPG?
