*How long have you been in the community?
I've been drawing dogs and anthros on DA since I was like 12 or 13, but I officially got into the furry thing when I was about 14, so about 6 or so years, whoa.

*How did you find furry?
Haha, as I said above, I was on DA a lot during my pre-teen years and I really got into Anthro art and started reading more about conventions and costumes and things like that.

*What's your reason for furry (what interested you to get into the community)?
I love animals. Seriously, at the root of it all it pretty much comes down to that. I love furry for the artwork and costuming aspects as well, but it all relates back to my love for animals. I've been obsessed since I was a kid, my mom likes to joke that I would've rather had stuffed animals than Barbies growing up. My childhood was pretty much watching Animal Planet and pretending to be the Crocodile Hunter in my backyard and pool. Silly I know, but now that I'm older I am pursuing a degree in Biology because of the exact same passion for animals that I still have now.

*What's Furry to you?
It's a hobby for me; an outlet for performing and making new friends. And it's given me plenty of awesome occasions to party!

*If someone found out you're a furry and asked you about it how would you respond?
This has happened a few times before, haha. I'm not very serious about Furry as a whole, so it's pretty easy to just kinda laugh at myself and talk about it. I usually just tell the truth and let people know I'm not a weird or anything, just someone who loves performing.

*What are your favorite aspects of our community?
The art and costumes, definitely. It seriously is amazing the talent we have in this community. The artists and fursuit builders we have here can do some truly amazing work, and we should be very proud of that. For the most part, the people in the community are also pretty awesome, not to mention we can throw some badass parties!

*Do you use any furry terms? (i.e. yiff, paws, murr?)
NO.

*What do you wish furry was NOT associated with?
Kidfuckers and dogfuckers

*How strongly do you feel about someone bashing the community as a whole?
Like I've said, I don't think anyone should take any fandom too seriously. I've learned that if you're in something as goofy as furry you'll be miserable unless you learn to laugh at yourself once in awhile.

*How strongly do you feel about anyone bashing you yourself for your interest based on the media's aspect of what furry is?
No one's really ever seriously bashed me for it, mainly because most people realize that I look, act, and dress like a normal mainstream person most of the time.

*We all know furries have a lot of sexual aspects in this fandom, What's your opinion on it?
I'm not really bothered by it per say, I wish it wasn't so out in the open for everyone to see all the time, an example being people wearing bondage to furry events in public. My opinion is that what you do in the bedroom is your own business, unless it hurts or endangers someone else (children, animals).

*What is/are your fursona(s)?
Indi, a black backed jackal.

*Do you have any fetishes that pertain to the fandom?
Sure ;P

*If you could magically morph into your fursona would you?
Only if I could change back, lol.

*Do you believe you have a spirit animal?
Not in the NATIVE AMERICAN totem sense, but there are animals I've always had strong connections with and I feel kind of attached with, personality-wise. These animals would be otters and wolves (cliche I know).

*What other fanbases/groups are you a part of?
HARRY POTTER, that's probably the biggest one.

*Anthro/Feral, Therian or Kemonomimi (Not a furry, just a human with animal ears and a tail)?
Anthro/Feral.

*Are you a fursuiter? If yes, how many do you own? If No, do you ever plan on being a suiter?
Right now I have one suit, of my main character Indi! I do plan on getting at least two more suits made, if not more in the future. I want to have Lumos, my wolf made sometime down the road as well as a remake/monsterish version of Indi. I also kind of want a tiger suit XD

*How many of your friends are furry?
Probably a good 80%

*How many pets do you own, if any?
One cat: Harley. I've grown up with dogs so I am missing having a dog around, though I love cats too!

*Aside from furry what other interests do you have?
College, biology, Harry Potter, gaming, costuming, history, SCUBA diving, sailing, the beach, nature, animals, fashion, coffee, tea, good food, parties, zebra stripes, sharks, the color green, old school Nickelodeon, Disney, the Mighty Boosh. Spongebob, music, dancing, hip-hop, indie kids, art, cats, weed, good literature, being a gangsta.

*Are you confident enough in yourself to say that you're a fur, no matter what the media says?
People don't need to know about unless they ask, but if they ask me about it I'm not ashamed to explain myself.

Yep, I've been to FWA 08 and 10, MP 09, as well as many Elliot's events (even though they're more like parties than cons).

*Do you go to local meetups(bowling, public outings...etc)?
Not really, I was kinda weirded out by the people that do some of that xD

*Have you ever attended a furry party? If no, would you attend one?
Yes! Furry parties are usually pretty bangn :D

*Has the fandom done anything for you that you're thankful for? Has it taught you anything or brought you anything you treasure greatly?
Without the fandom, I would never have met the amazing people that make up my close group of friends. The little group you see up in my profile have been through crazy times with each other, and out of all of the good and bad times we've still remained a closely connected family. If I had never gotten into furry I would have never gotten the chance to even know these remarkable people, and for that I'm very thankful that I did find this community. The fandom has taught me, if anything, that you can't take life too seriously, relax, and be cool with just laughing at yourself once in awhile. Life's much more fun if you don't take yourself so damn serious and just have fun with people.
