1) (Regarding Judaic/Christian) If God is infinite in all capacity (he is Omnipotent/scient/present, after all), including his reserves of energy, why did he need to rest on the seventh day after creating the universe? Surely, being a God with infinite power, he cannot succumb to such mortal failings like fatigue. Infinite capacity of energy minus any amount is still infinity. If he wasn't infinite he wouldn't be a god. Your thoughts?

2) What's your favorite genre of story, your favorite short story, and why? ;)

3) Do you find it surprising or maybe absurd, that a gun in the first act should be fired in the third?

1) Wow, didn't take me long to get an "intellectual" question, did it? :P Interesting question. If I had to take a guess, I'd say it wasn't really rest as in "man, I'm tired". It was more like "time to sit back and see how this turns out".

2) My favorite genre, if this counts as a genre, are transformation stories, because I get to read about (hopefully well-written) experiences that I wish I could experience myself. Favorite short story? Tough one, been a while since I've read one. I honestly can't think of one.

3) Nope. Sounds pretty cliché to me. First act you know about some potential threat, third act, things start to heat up, threat used.
