Can anyone explain to me what this recent fascination that people have with My little pony?

Well ive seen it on youtube and surprisingly i like it but for me its mainly because of the cartoon style in to it gets my inluential attention plus i find it better than the old my little pony plus its the second girl cartoon ive watched since the powerpuff girls

Well as near as I can tell, a lot of people like it because it plays up to a lot of people's interests; not just girl audiences. In addition, it apparently contains a lot of internet humor as well, so that might have something to do with it too.

Alot of us watched it as children so to see it come back with new animation and modern day themes is awesome! Plus it's SUPER cute and has really unique characters and makes the world look pleasant.
