"tryhard" is a popular taunt in Australian "schools".

try-hard
A person who puts a large amount of effort into achieving a certain image, or counter-image, to the point where it is obviously contrived. Rather than achieving an image through genuine personality, the try-hard consciously attempts to fit a certain style through deliberate imitation, forced style, or scripted behavior. That is to say, he/she is trying hard to create an image.
Examples: An affluent, suburban dweller who makes great efforts to cover himself in tattoos and piercings; try-hard.
A person who wears certain items of clothing for the express intention of appearing "non-conformist", and flaunts it; try-hard.
Someone who purchases a motorcycle only to appear as a "bad-boy"; try-hard.
A person who shuns certain genres or styles of music or art simply because it does not fit his self-image, or the image he wants to portray; try-hard.
In the end, I feel like one of these, because I try so hard to be unique... and for what? I hated Squishy Wizards because I'm probably the only guy on the face of the internet who didn't grow up with D&D, I hated the way it mutated staves into the worst ever melee weapon that even fighters can't use, not to mention it usually has stupid-looking attack animations, I'm also bored of Driders and I've apparently blasphemed fantasy lore by saying that Gnolls should take up a brewery job and be mutual punchup buddies with dwarves or at least one-up The Merchant from RE4, and that Beholders should take up something like fortune-telling and stop being so obviously evil-looking. I even have vanity issues with sci-fi because I'm just not keen on ship combat and would prefer to ride a spaceship-sized tin humanoid god as my own idea of a spaceship. I find a lot of appeal in riding a friggin mechanical Sleipnir while traversing through Tau Ceti, strapped with whatever Shepard and Co. are wearing and... Nope, that's just not sci-fi at all.
Besides, I get one-upped in the whole "unique" thing so damn easily by other people - especially by the japanese, new or old - that it's like reading a book that flips its pages to show newer ways to prove that I'm even tinier than a speck of dust. Might as well conform and draw stick-holding Gandalfs wearing magic art smocks and those weird pointy brimmed hats.
Or just give up. That way's easier... and cheaper... and... not very dignified. Not that I knew what dignity meant, anyway, but DERP
[edit: yes, i'm trying to calm down]

FA+

in the dicks
warrior normal hits wizard.
wizard loses 80% of his hp.
Warrior rolls for double attack.
GG.
Not true to the game since I've never gotten to seriously sit down and play, just thought the PoV would be worth something. >.>
Also they're absolutely stuck with wearing long skirts for whatever reason. I'd rather wear miko pants.
