It does, but not in the sense that you might think. While sketching that drawing, I thought a while and figured my fursona is overtly abstract. While I'm an abstract kind of person, my fursona's personality and demeanor represented something that I thought I wanted to be, but in turn, would lead me down a very dark and static path indeed. I intended to change his personality (i.e. overall direction) to something I am, mixed with something I want to be, with additional abstract cues to represent my mind. When it's released, It'll be a much more accurate representation of who I am in real life. :)

He'll maintain most of his past looks, so as to not completely alienate him from who he used to be, but the style in which I draw him will be very different. I'm constantly changing my idea, as my own personal style and taste (and personality) changes and grows. The type of animal or whatever I choose changes a lot as well.. which is why I always class myself, whenever I need to put down species, is a shapeshifter. Because sometimes we need a change in life, even if it means just our character's look.
