Ask me things (anything!), I'll answer them. :D I just reserve the right to not answer if you ask something TMI.
(I...thought this would be better than leaving that really old journal up. XD Yeah, hi, I'm alive. Nothing new's really going on, though, so... *shrug*)
Damn keyboard making me post the thing when I wasn't finished yet, and damn FA for not having an 'edit' button on posts like they do for submissions and journals. >:C Here is what the post was supposed to look like.
And yeah. x3 I hit 'Tab' instead of 'Caps-Lock', then I hit 'Enter' to go to the next line......only I didn't go to the next line, I posted the reply. I was all like "WTFKAHDFHFDJNGAUDSFHG!!!!!! }8<" so I had to hide the post, and do it over again.
Uh, probably not...? I almost never do them (I do look up reference photos for things I don't already know how to draw, I just don't draw directly from life very frequently), and I generally keep that classes-only.
And it's not like they ever turn out very interesting. (...Okay, I lie, I have one cool gesture drawing that I may post eventually, just because it's neat.)
But in general, why would I want to post those? They're kind of boring, and I haven't really drawn anything in classes that I'm proud of yet. XD Good enough to fulfill class requirements and get praise from teachers, yes; things I felt were as interesting (to me) as my normal art, no.
well you sketch and I figure that if you're trying to draw things that look just like real things they'll look different from your heavily stylized things and it's interesting to see the differences
Actually? One thing I learned in my art classes is that my stuff is not as heavily stylized as one might think. (Or as stylized as, like, most anime styles tend to be, let's say. I know there are people who also do draw a lot more realistically.)
I only realized that after drawing things from life when I saw there was hardly a difference. XD I expected it would be really hard (or at least really different) to draw from life, but it actually wasn't as different was I expected. Yet I apparently did fine at drawing things slightly more ~realistically~ since, you know, my teachers thought my art was good. And they're professionals whose opinions I (mostly) respected. ("Mostly" because, you know, sometimes art teachers can be iffy. But I've had pretty cool ones at college.)
Alright your style isn't as hugely stylized as, say, Phineas and Ferb. But you have to agree that you do have quite some amount of stylization. I have to say the same about my own stuff. But just because there's not as big a difference as you'd think there'd be, doesn't mean there isn't.
but yeah, tangent. I'd just like to see your stuff so I can see for myself.
Okay, I can't anymore. XD
Plus, I needed a new journal, that other one was...old.
~gets handed a note~ What? Are you sure? ffffffff. >C Fine..
Well, according to this, you've apparently won a Chocolate Factory, and a bunch of cracked-out orange midgets...<.<
Oompah, loompah, doompah-di-doo,
I've got another puzzle for you.
Oompah, loompah, doompah-di-di,
If you are wise you will listen to me.
Why do you obsess over anime pairs?
Does it have something to do with their hair?
And why do they have it nowhere but there?
Is it because they just. Use. Nair?
THE WAY THAT THE ACTORS DO.
Oompah, loompah, doompah-da-doo,
Normal anime is awesome to view.
Oompah, loompah, doompah-da-di,
It's even better when you watch it for free!
sdifjaspfoasdif that song. XD

Do you have a Nosepass yet? :D
For Pokedex purposes only. XD;
Miniatures of what? XD
That sort of thing.
Well, if it's fantasy stuff, then I'd totally prefer that over models of modes of transportation. XD

Switching back and forth between FA and LiveJournal is hard sometimes. >:C
Another is that it could give the some of us new insights into your drawing process.
I don't really have any good reasons, but I'm interested.
But I guess your question was as good as any other. XD

WORDS WORDS WORDS GOING OFF ON A TANGENT WORDS.

I still don't know how much difference it would make, BUT SURE YOU CAN SEE IF I EVER TAKE ANOTHER AT CLASS AND DO THIS STUFF AGAIN.
