Just do a google search for "sinus migraine" because I did this morning because I had a "sinus headache" that was making it difficult for me to function.
GUESS WHAT.
Unless you have an active sinus infection, you don't have a sinus headache, and apparently 9 out of 10 "sinus headache" sufferers actually have migraines.
I'd describe the almost-weekly headaches I get as weather-induced hangovers. I wake up reeling, feeling like someone sucked all the water out of my skull. I actually HAVE a bunch of this list of migraine symptoms:
* Nausea
* Sensitivity to light and/or noise
* Moderate to severe headache
* Pulsing/throbbing pain
* Headache worsened by activity
Though very rarely on the nausea, I've had all of the rest. Light and noise sensitivity sure, but no auras (though sometimes the light sensitivity is bad enough it feels like the light is trying to break THROUGH my vision).
Anyways, I found this helpful to know, so I can at least feel justified in complaining about the pain when I have a headache! And thought I'd share, since a lot of y'all probably have what you thought were sinus headaches too. :)

Check out truthinlabeling.org (and if you scroll down a little there is a pdf brochure on the list of items that always contain and usually contain it) A nice little one by a neurosurgeon as well. I am not saying that is your cause but most of the people who have reported what you are and those posting here once they cut it all out (hard to do ) found the reaction came back when they ate some. Its all over the place, burger king angus burgers have it added to them, so even plain its there.
What helps for me, vanilla icecream! Something about the cold against the roof of my mouth/back of my throat soothes me, but it comes back after I finish it :<
One of my migraines nearly knocked me unconscious. I know that Stria has to be in complete darkness and isolation when he gets migraines.
If it turns out you really do have a migraine then I'd recommend seeing a doctor and maybe getting some medicine that you can use for when you do get one.
I'd also recommend finding out what triggers it and avoiding it. I have a friend that can't eat chocolate cause the theobromine in it triggers his migraines. Can't say that that's what would set yours off assuming it is a migraine, but just something to consider.
Also, I believe that allergies can cause what would be a sinus headache. When I think of sinus headache I think of just pressure in the facial area due to an allergic response. I don't know that a sinus headache is only caused by a sinus infection.
But yes, your list of symptoms do sound like a migraine at least. The medicine they give for it is usually for use only when you get a headache. Unless you have it chronically which they can give daily meds to prevent it. Hope that helps.
