well It looks like we will soon be invaded by cosmic ray irradiated squids from space.

Nasa has sent the first squid into space, this is a maneuver one columnist has dubbed a reverse Cthulhu, how ever this poor baby bobtail squid only has 28 hours to live.

the squid is part of an experiment, Nasa already knows that under zero g conditions harmful bacteria becomes more dangerous, so they are trying to see how zero g effects beneficial bacteria. they are studying the bacteria that let this particular breed of squid glow.

so they plan to let the squid live for 28 hours before being killed and I think flash frozen. all they hope before the cosmic rays turn him super strong.
