You can redownload any game you purchase on Steam. The only trouble is re-setting a new steam client on a computer in case you format/buy a new one, but once that's settled down, you are good to redownload anything your purchased, since they have all your info on file.

I know that, my problem is the download process itself. Our internet isn't fast and we only get 20Gb a month, not an ideal situation if I have to reformat and download any significant number of games, each of which are usually 9Gb. The TF2 updates alone eat up my limit :C

Ah, well, this seems like a more reasonable price for the game. Originally, with the full price, it seemed like you only bought half of a game and the only cool thing about it was that you were able to be this mutant tarantula thing.
