So the journal pretty much says it all...I started an awesome new job a couple of months ago. Today they decided not to keep me on past the 3 month probationary period. I'm really not the kind of person that will ask for help unless I really, really need it...this is one of those times.

I am now unemployed. My husband is unemployed. Our apartment costs $975 a month, and between the two of us we have around $150. Our credit cards are maxed from previous financial "situations" that I can't even begin to start on now.

Now for the semi-good news: I am supposed to be receiving an $1800 cheque from my old job because I cashed out my RRSP. The problem is, it's not here yet and I don't expect it to be for a few more weeks.

I desperately need to raise some money to help with the cost of rent, bills, and gas money to attend husband's sister's wedding this weekend. After which I will no longer be driving because I can't afford to put gas in the car, pay parking, or have it repaired (it's a 16 year old vehicle that I was lucky enough to drive for a few months before it dies). The crappy thing is a bus pass costs more per month than my car and it's not nearly as convenient :(
