Dog Parks, Comics & Earth Magic

Just thought I'd ramble about my day yesterday, just to annoy you all. :D We went to the new dog park, which is much closer to the house...this is a huge plus. The only thing is this park also seems to be much smaller, we were there for almost two hours and we were the only ones there! Save for right as we were leaving, when ONE other person with a rottweiler turned up. The pack had fun romping around together though, as you can see in the recent pictures I just spammed my gallery with. After we took the dogs home we went to the health food store to browse for vegan stuff, and found some EPIC vegan cupcakes. Drool worthy, seriously.
Went to Acme comics, where the nerd in me came out with full force as I searched through box after box of comics for "Dark Shadows" stuff. I found some, but comics of the 90's remake series, not the original series. Pwnsome nonetheless that I even found anything from that show, but the original is so much better (the newer series makes Willie into a dirty, unshaven Igor stereotype) I also found some oldskool Lion King trading cards there! Some are from Art of The Lion King, seriously love my Scar concept art. So pretty! I was having a major nerd day and almost had to be forced out the door from that place.
After that we went to Subway, where we got vegge subs (on Italian bread, which is their only pure vegan bread) and snuck in our own vegan cheese (win). Then we ran in Target to see Sana at her new jorb...and it seems, had we got there just just a little earlier, we would have caught Dennie aka Cagey, too! Damnit. I blame my comic obsession. Sana made me a special soy/vegan latte sample at her workplace, since she had to practice making stuff anyway rofl! LOVED it! Then we went to the Riverfront's "Festival to the Heal the Earth" event, which was slow at first but after they got started the music & prayers were all very cool. We also found out about another pow wow type event coming this August, so I'm looking forward to that too! There's another pow wow coming up next month too: "Return to Pimiteoui" on June 11th & 12th at Sommer Park. I think that's all I have to say for now, ramble!
