I guess the saying is true; there IS honor among some thieves! I think that the main anon group wants to be the "vigilante" hackers by sticking it to the "man." I don't think that anon wants people that do shit like releasing account info on their team.

Only people that had the RRoD could get their consoles fixed for free if it was under warranty and also not everyone got the RRoD at the same time. Sony, on the other paw, will most likely NOT reimburse its customers...

We temporarily took down the PSN and Qriocity password reset page. Contrary to some reports, there was no hack involved. In the process of resetting of passwords there was a URL exploit that we have subsequently fixed.

Consumers who haven’t reset their passwords for PSN are still encouraged to do so directly on their PS3. Otherwise, they can continue to do so via the website as soon as we bring that site back up.

D: ... Sony... Fix... Things? I never heard of Sony fixing things... THey jsut junk it and make something better in it's place.. like the FIrst PS2... THe PSX ... the Backwards compatable PS3... I can see um getting ready to do that to the PS Network... they either have absoloutly NO idea how this is happening or how far it went in terms of user safty... or it's a HUGE pablisity gitch to drag people into a huge scare so that they can dump in a brand spanking NEW network without having to worry about people using the old one during the switch. > >
