I don't really have much in the way of friends. I suppose that my "best friend", even though that particular title does not fit her, is a particular friend of mine. She was actually my prom date. Though, we never had any sort of romantic relationship, we just went to have fun, and we did. That actually one of the best nights of my life.

Of course, it turns out that we're 3rd cousins, but since nothing sexual happened, I don't need to worry about fulfilling the stereotype that some may have given that I live in a shitty little redneck town.

We meet every so often, maybe once every 2 weeks for either board games or to go to a local Mexican place to drink margaritas and watch bad karaoke.

But I'm not particularly close to her, really. We don't confide in eachother and we don't really have anything in the way of intimacy (of the emotional type, nothing physical, of course).

So, that's how that question is answered, I suppose.
