Well I have always held back for this but fuck it been holding it in too long
In the last few days here
AlbertaFurries was banned from volunteering at the Calgary Zoo due to a few different volunteers breaching the contract, not going into details as to who or how because I dont know the full story and I'm not one to cause more shit than necessary. This effected all of us WRC volunteers and yea no ones impressed by this I didn't really know until I was texted by some one from Af
Now I dont know who this was and probably shouldn't find out because I'm fucking livid still, but it was an ever so kind 3 page text about how I should never have joined Af, I'm a disgrace to furries I don't belong and I should kill myself...
WELL THANKS all this because this unknown person assumed I was the reason Af was banned from the Zoo.
I have not been around because of work, moving and lack of time for anything. The last event I actually attended was the yap and draw at Voices, and I was only there for about 5 minutes to drop Jalmu off, then went right back to moving my shit out of the place I was staying in Calgary (and for all you retards no I was not evicted I left due to huge amounts of bull shit)
My current job requires me to be onsite or close to site all the time and all over the god damn place, Saskatchewan, BC and all over Alberta.
I was about 15 minutes out of Conklin in a random work camp when I received this text.
So im 9.5 hours away from Calgary busting my ass off working and I some how managed to get WRC banned from the Zoo... and the fact that this person got my number is still beyond me because I have changed 3 times since I moved from Calgary.
Now yes I did post on Af about this, and yea it looked like I was sticking up for the people that got us banned, in a way I guess I was I did it more so for myself because yea I was fucking angry. People twisting the stories and making their own managed to make one of the new furs feel so bad he out right quit on the spot after a post, target 4 possible people for being the reason we were banned AND I got a really nice text from some dumb fuck that decided his assumption was right
I'm disappointed about no longer having the zoo to suit at, but I'm more disappointed about how much people are trying destroy who ever they think wrecked this for us I mean really if you don't know WHAT happened at least wait until you do before you start calling out some one for it.

I'm so, SO sorry you received the brunt of a vicious attack that had no bearing on you what so ever MC!! D:
All I can say is that people are forgetting that it wasn't JUST the couple involved, but also two concerned parents over photographs, and that we are in good talks with the zoo and will most likely be allowed to suit again.
All we can do is trust that WRC will deal with the people involved and go from there, as they DID breach the contract that they both signed.
Again, sorry to hear that you got attacked when anyone who was there would actually know you weren't at the event.
