Anything interesting to do here other than look at architecture? I'm more of a natural history buff, so I'm somewhat wary of the museums here and I'm really trying to avoid any gung-ho americans. On the bright side, got a hotel room to myself and I'm old enough to get some booze. Yay!

The Natural History museum is pretty cool. Also, the National Zoo is really good and entry to the zoo is free!

Wish I had known there was a natural history museum and a zoo! I just got home last night. I really didn't get a chance to do much research so I figured there would only be war and american history museums.

Aww, wish I had seen this journal sooner then. The Smithsonian has a bunch of museums in the area, as well as the zoo and aquarium.

My boyfriend's family mainly took us around to the boring monuments. I'll keep that in mind if we go again though. Would really make the whole experience a lot more interesting. Thanks : )
