ESG roundup

Alright, so I'm back from Elliot's Spring gathering and I'm not sure if I'm a better person for surviving the weekend but damnit I don't regret it one bit. It was pretty hectic at first, we got there a little late since the spotted faggot that is Kemmy (1) had to wait to get his paycheck before we could leave. In the car we were stuffed with him, Yurath, Leafy (2), and the Hoss (3)
After settling in we went socializing, I was rather irritated to discover that the game room had nothing but FREAKING PS3's In the game room, when I had brought my XBOX 360 fight pad in order to beat fellow furries around like a mail-order bride in MVC3. Oddly enough I spent little time at all in the game room, and most of the con was spent in the dealer den. The majority of my interraction was with well known friends such as Tahoe (4) and his girlfriend, Lavits (5) who I met first at FWA, which introduced me to Grentain (6) and Warrn (7), both awesome guys. I also ran into Mont (8), a particular fox I had met a few months ago at a local fur cookout but sadly due to various troubles in his life had not been able to socialize much with others in the fandom, was rather happy to see him again. Was also quite happy to see an artist I had befriended at FWA, a lovely lady by the name of Ryla (9), who I bothered most of the con by standing at her table.
Saturday was of course the main event, the reason most people come to ESG which is to buy art and drink booze. Oddly enough I only walked away with a Meesh sketch, another from my friend Tahoe and promise of a digital badge from Ryla since time was a bit short and she was swamped on her painted badges. Also got to talk with the two headed girl (Painteddog and Likeshine) for a bit and learn the humorous story about how that entire joke came to be, the both of them are great artists and frankly, amazing people in general. Also later on Saturday, I made the monumental mistake of buying Kemmy and Saph (10) some alcohol after I heard about the alluring thing called a " Skittles drink" which the two quickly became inebriated and Saph pulled a Jurassic park, ending up biting a few people. Sad as it is, what made Saturday the best was that I watched my phone like a hawk, keeping an eye on the Lightning-Bruins playoff game, in which Tampa bay won. On that matter, I made a great new friend that lives near by, who goes by the name of Cat (11) a fellow Lightning fan which was damn well needed.
Sunday was spent loitering around the artist alley with Rasol, Ryla and Tahoe until it came time to hit the water park, Wet N Wild. I know admission was free and the furries had the run of the park ( to the staff's horror) but I was kind of disappointed. Adventure Island has got to be at least twice as fun as Wet N wild is, i mean most of the rides were just lame, had good ideas, but still just lame. The one ride that looked the best I had a panic attack while looking at due to my paralyzing fear of falling. I can handle quick drops but if it's steep enough and longer than about ten feet I wuss out. Anyway goodbyes were said, numbers were exchanged and we parted. I was rather disappointed that we didn't get to see more of our friend Kuraji (12) due to his work hours most of the weekend
Anyway, I'll be posting some arts from ESG and various other times after this journal is up, don't get t0o excited the three of you who are actually reading this.

And I didn't see you at Wet n Wild. I freak out on stairs so I wasn't exactly doing great when there were lines. When it was just us I accidentally ditched
Also I am afraid of heights so FUCK ALL THE STAIRS AT WET N WILD ARGH. Also Elliott's is run by hipsters so Microsoft products aren't allowed. Also there is no e in my name, but I don't really care too much. Also this is a lot of alsos!
