This world is so fucked up

All I wanna do is get high by the beach, get high by the beach, get high. -Lana-
We spend are days working are asses off so we have money to buy the things that we neither want nor need, meanwhile our so called authority figures police other nations so we have enough resources to fuel our greedy non sustainable lifestyles. Killers praised as heroes and minor offenses such as drugs seen as attrocities. Things will likely never change as long as the people with the power hold that power. It seems like were all on a one way track to armageddon and no one seems to care anymore. I remember years ago there was talk of our troops coming home, but no one seems to care anymore even though they finally got both Husien and Bin Ladin theres still no end in sight. Are we really the good guys in all this? Is flattening their way of life and building superhighways, suburbias and McDonalds restaurants really that important. Money rules, and you can either buy into it or be an outsider. I'm rambling obviously but I just felt the need to say I don't wanna be apart of your great big apple pie. Il be sitting on the sidelines watching as the whole thing goes up in flames. Not to sound pessimistic but this world just seems so fucked up, when things could be changed so easily but money allways wins. When sustainable choices such as hemp are made illegal so the police have people to bust and fill our prisons, one can only wonder what's the fucking point of moving forward into deeper oblivion. These are the words of a proud to be failure. Until next time, keep fucking the system.

Oh boy Backster, don't I agree with you. I used to work heavily in the peace-movement... especially during the dark-era of Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld. The world IS fucked up... and there's probably not a whole lot anyone can do to 'fix' it anymore. I'll gladly sit back with you and watch everyone in their futility, running, trying to save their possessions, and wait gleefully for the firestorm.

Well when your in my position (not owning a car) it's safe to say I'm not all that effected by rising oil costs. Feel kinda bad for people isolated way out in the suburbs who rely heavily on it.

Yeah, having a car has its definite advantages and disadvantages. I'm still planning on building a mo-ped. hehe.

Yessiree... my dad actually used to build motorcycles... before I was born, of course. But he taught me some stuff - aside from terrorising me. He had a 1936 Harley-Davidson EL Knuckhead... GAWD I wish I had that bike now!

You might feel the pinch when the trucking companies start going doun cause of new laws and higher fuel...I think people just don't want common sense any more they want the government to make rules and run there lives for them. Kinda sad when people don't really know what freedom really means and start forcing there ideas on other people, but what ev I thought about fighting the system, but I love my big screen TV and 4x4's not to mention beer! So work and give half to uncle Sam so he can give it to someone else...funny I thought America became a country because the taxes where to high...good luck dude maiby I'll lend ya a ak when the s**t hits the fan^^

Well if they ever do to us (Canada) what they have done to Iraq and Afghanistan (although highly unlikely) I'd have no qualms about resisting. Then again we have kinda already been assimilated, so unless they start blowing shit up I probably won't do shit.

When I say assimilated I mean our way of life is very similar to theirs, we love our SUVs and sprawling suburbia mazes.
