So Apparently I'm an Overpriced, Talentless Hack.

I tried to offer up one of my commission sales on another one of my gallery sites that I have almost never offered sales on before. Figured, hell, I shouldn't let just FA get ALL the fun. Offer up the Two character, full color, full background digital piece for $60 USD deal, right?
Had someone comment to tell me I was crazy, my style isn't worth it, I need more practice and they wouldn't pay more than $20 for what I'm offering.
I tired to be polite and counter with how these such commission take absolutely no less than 10 hours of time, not accounting for researching, warm-ups, and alterations. (Sometimes the color process alone can take 8 hours of siting at the computer straight.) Then when one of my awesome long time repeat commissioner called them on their ignorant bullshit, the person insulted them and told them they were stupid and ruining the furry community for paying people like me for "overpriced" art.
For maybe what was only the second time ever, I actually used a "block" function on one of my gallery sites.
You can insult me and call my craft, skills, and business practices into question. That's fine. I'll either shrug you off or mentally archive the comment as actual critique that I need to ponder over and better myself from.
But the minute you insult the people I have come to know, work with, and befriend over the nearly 10 years I'm been working in the online art community, that's when I can no longer laugh you off. That's when you fucking piss me off.
Opinions are one thing. Attacking people because you can have your way? Well that's just unseemly.
By the way, hi. I'm back. its been a looooong time since I had anything of interest to say here. Its been a very, bad year for me mentally. But I'm back. And I'm working to pump out the commissions even if it has been a bit since you've heard from me. I love you all. Commissioners and watchers alike. If I could I would hug you all and tell you you're wonderful. Barring that, I'm just gonna keep pumping out the commissions. Cause goddamn I feel like shit for taking as long as I have on some of these. Seriously, you have no fucking idea.

I get so sick and tired of cheapass little pricks who complain about having to pay someone to draw for them.
Hell, in something like the wildlife art community, a fricking SKETCH costs $300.....
Furry art is the best damn bargain you can find anywhere for having someone draw something to your description..
Most of the artists in the fandom don't charge a fraction of what their time is worth, while pouring their heart and soul into drawing someone else's fantasy.
And they do it because they love to draw.
So no one has a right to complain about the price.
You're buying a tiny piece of someone's soul, captured on paper.
How much is that worth?
