Bike, Vacation Reschedule, and Work Opportunities.

I got my bike!

It's a Jamis Explorer and I love the shit out of it! if all goes well I'll be going in today to get the kickstand for it- they were all out when I went to pick it up last week!
Got some business cards too; http://twitpic.com/4zgdaj ; http://twitpic.com/4zgdag but they misprinted! I'll probably keep them around to hand out at my table at FC, but they're not suitable for just leaving around places. (I kept the info limited on purpose, but I might expand on it when I get a new set with the image bigger.)
Haven't gotten the rest of the Art Show paperwork for AC yet, so I'm getting a little bit antsy, about that, but I have 3 pictures done and framed and such, and I might be able to make one more (though I had been planning on five!)
if all else fails, I'll send Apprehension there and hope that it sells (unlike at FC)
Mom realized the other day that she wouldn't be able to meet her money goal in time to have our vacation to Universal Studios Orlando by early August- and figured that I wouldn't be able to, either (she is right) so she moved it to next year- she was thinking maybe spring break.
SO, still there, but more saving time, which is always awesome.
There's apparently a job opening at Sears, and dad thinks that I might be able to snag it, being both female and a locksmith (of course, we thought that about OSH, too, but let's not be pessimistic!)
It's also been confirmed, I do definitely have that job thing that I mentioned a few posts ago, about a webcomic! (excitement!)
Right now I'm building some environments in Sketchup, so If anybody can help (and wants to, for up to 5$ per completed page that your sets appear in) that would be most fantastic. The idea is to have the sets completed so that it doesn't take as long to map out the bg in every single page- it'll also help keep things more consistent. I'm almost done with the Cafe, but there's a few more that we need for Arc 1.
but anyway~
I have a table booked in the Dealer's Den at FC, will be sharing it with Twix.
I have my CA seller's permit and my EIN from the IRS; I still need to file for a business license for the City of Elk Grove- not looking forward to that since not only does it cost the most money, but I have to physically go to the City Hall to get it- I also need to file a Fictitious Name Statement, but that's only like 27$ and is low on the priority list.
I've been in contact with a few printers, and it's sounding like the cost for The River will be between 3800 and 4200$- the 400$ difference between the two is the difference between an apparently organized company an one that seems to be considerably less so, but I still have two more places to contact before I make a decision.
If I can kick myself into gear, I SHOULD be sending the illustrations to the scanner in, oh, September, but I'm still not done with the sketches, so...
I'm still having difficulty coming up with Kickstarter rewards still, so if you've any ideas or thoughts; or things that you think i should include in the Project Info, feel free to leave them below (or anywhere else you might see me)
Cheers;
