It's pretty typical of this style comic anyway. At least the anatomy isn't godawful, and it's not anime style.

Don't get me wrong, I think the pulp comic art style is entirely appropriate for this genre of material, I just don't think it's very well executed in this case.

The artist clearly has never done any life/model drawing and isn't using any proper sort of figure construction; He's using a very naive technique and it really shows through in a lot of places. There's occasional spots where the shading isn't too bad, but on the whole the colour looks like amateur photoshop vomit.

The sad thing is it wouldn't take any more effort to make it actually look good, it would just take a little attention to developing actual artistic skill.
