Do I have a style?

When it comes to Turians? I'm real worried people might think I'm just flailing....
.uh...I dunno how to put it into words >\
Umm..I do use refs when it comes to drawing other peoples characters but also try to stick to my own style, so if its kinda retarded looking thats probs why...?
Course I'm also heavily influenced by the ME concepts art books I have and
's tutorials.
Is any of this making sence? If not, probs coz I'm tired an just babbling but its somthing thats been on my mind for a while now.
OH! And a talks I was in at some point today about OC's left me feeling not really...good about my own.
Like Norah, being very much just me but as a Turian, was boring an not very...umm..well thought out?
ALSO! I would like to take advantage of my current emotional...emotions that I seem to have had for the past week, to say a BIG BIG THANKYOU! To Chell and Von. Without who I would not be here <3
Sure I was a big fan of the universe before meeting them, but they made my obsessivness with Turians even WORSE!

Look to you own work, note the curves, the sway of the lines, the value of your shapes. I don't see many Turians who's crests look of fine pedals and fringe most like carved, nurtured beach wood. This is yours, and no others.
The journal isn't 'emo', quite far from it in fact. You are outreaching to those who's opinions matter to you. This is extroversion, fellow, not the introversion of keeping quite in a corner . It is natural to express a wanting for furthering your wealth of experience.

Besides, I think being your own worst critic is most likely better than having some oaf do that for you instead.

As for your character, I'll just be blunt: if people don't like her, fuck em. It's your character to play as; you play her for yourself, not others. Haters gonna hate; personally I really love Norah. On the contrary I find it quite interesting when people put a lot of themselves into an OC. Gives them a soul, a spirit, call it what you will. Mary Sue´s, super duper warriors and immortal unbeatable Spectres and the likes, now those right? Those just suck.
