1. What is your character's name?
GoBob (one word... like Madonna.)
2. What kind of character is it (furry, anime, etc) and any particular race/species?
Furry-scaly, for lack of better description. He is a monkey/dragon hybrid, though he usually just looks like a bipedal monkey in a trench coat. His draconic characteristics show themselves randomly, depending on his mood (and mine).
3. What is the first thing your character would think of when he/she first wakes up?
Not much. He'd probably smash the alarm clock and go back to sleep. He isn't a morning person.
4. Your character's favorite outfit would be?
A long sleeve silk dress shirt. Loose, roomy slacks. Rugged hiking boots. His ankle-length trench coat. And, of course, his signature cane.
5. When your character looks into a mirror, what's the first thing they would notice?
"I've got the eyes of Todd McFarlane's Spawn. So why the hell can't I have his awesome cape and chains?"
6. Does your character have the same tastes in food as you?
Basically, though his penchant for bananas far outweighs my own, and he likes his meat as rare as he can get it. I like mine medium.
7. How is your character similar to you?
He embodies a lot of the darker aspects of my personality (of which there are mercifully few), and shares most of my ideals and opinions. He also has my sense of humor, and is fond of a specific character who is also in the fandom. She knows who she is. ;)
8. How is (s)he different?
He's in better shape than I am (though I'm making progress), he's agile to the point of near Matrix-style defiance of physics, and he has horns. Also tends to be reticent and taciturn, while I'm rather garrulous and extroverted. Oh, and he has glowing green eyes.
9. If your character could speak, would they have the same voice as you?
Sort of. It would be a raspier, rougher version of my voice.
10. If you were to suddenly become your character, what do you think would be the first thing you would do as them?
Climb/jump up the side of a building, just for the hell of it. Remember the scene in the first Spiderman movie where he's first testing the extent of his powers, and jumping over rooftops and stuff? Yeah, that'd be me.
11. Is there something about your character that you don't like how others think of them?
Not particularly.
12. What advantages does your character have over you?
As previously mentioned, agility and physical fitness are the big things.
13. What disadvantages?
Height (he's technically only supposed to be 5'8"), and a bit of a temper.
14. Do you have any secrets relating to your character that only you know?
Maybe one or two. Most of the stuff I've come up with is pretty common knowledge.
15. Do you have any secret drawings only you know about?
There are one or two that the owner of his love interest drew a while back... I need to draw some reciprocals. ;)
16. Do you have any plans for your character or are you working on something big relating to him/her?
Been planning on doing some kind of Flash animation about him for ages now... but that has to wait until I learn fucking Flash. Grrr.
17. What misconception(s), if any, do people have about your character?
When I first started drawing him, people thought he was a mouse because his ears looked different. Several people have called him Gobo, though I doubt it was intentional. I still get questions from strangers about what species he is supposed to be. >shrug<
18. If you could have just ONE characteristic from your character, what would it be?
His glowing eyes.
19. Have you made any characters that go along with yours, based on real-life people, that have the same relationship with your character as you with the real-life person?
My whole crew. The "HMP" pics are furry representations of my friends. I need to do an updated one.
